Im September 2001 Jahr veranstaltete Die Höge erstmalig die „Internationalen Komponistinnentage für Neue Musik“, ein Festival, das in Öffentlichkeit und Medien große Resonanz fand.
Die hohe Professionalität der Veranstaltung hinterließ einen nachhaltigen Eindruck und vermittelte einen konzentrierten Einblick in das künstlerische Schaffen von Frauen in der Neuen Musik.
Die nun vorliegende Doppel-CD dokumentiert die im Rahmen des Festivals aufgeführten Werke und liefert Hintergrundinformationen zu den einzelnen Komponistinnen. Mit einen Vorwort von Max Nyffeler und einer Einführung von
Ute Schalz-Laurenze.

The ’International Composers Event for New Music’ was held for the first time in September 2001 at ’Die Höge’, a festival which found great resonance with the public and in the media.
The high level of professionalism seen at the event left a lasting impression and conveyed a concentrated insight into the artistic work of women in new music.
The double CD now available documents the work performed as part of the festival, and provides background information on the individual composers. Comes with a foreword from Max Nyffeler and an introduction by Ute Schalz-Laurenze.
