Die Internationale Künstlerinnenstiftung Die Höge stellt eine eigene Kunstedition vor: Unter dem Titel “expand“ vereint die Erstausgabe Werke von zehn Künstlerinnen unterschiedlicher Sparten und gibt einen Einblick in die Bandbreite des Schaffens der Künstlerinnen der ersten beiden Förderzyklen. Vertreten sind die Gattungen Bildende Kunst, Performance, Fotografie, Neue Medien, Literatur und Neue Musik mit Werken, die zum Teil in sich spartenübergreifend konzipiert sind.
Zum Kubus „expand“ ist ein Begleitkatalog erschienen, der ausführlich über die Künstlerinnen informiert und die einzelnen Arbeiten präsentiert. Der Katalog kann zu einem Preis von 20.- € bestellt werden.
Die Künstlerinnen des ersten Kubus wurden, wie alle resident artists der Höge, durch eine international besetzte Jury nominiert und in den Jahren 2000 bis 2003 im Rahmen einer residency auf der Höge gefördert.
The International Women Artists’ Foundation Die Höge hereby presents its own art edition: Under the title “expand,” this editio princeps unites the works of ten women artists from various branches and provides insight into the diversity that characterises the artists of the Höge’s first two grant cycles. The forms of artistic expression represented here are the visual arts, performance, photography, new media, literature and new music; many of the works draw from two or more of these branches at once.
The cube "Expand" is accompanied by a catalogue providing in-depth information on the artists and presenting their individual works. The catalogue costs 20 Euros and can be ordered from the Höge.
Like all of the Höge’s grant recipients, the artists of the first Cube were nominated by an internationally composed jury and received support in the form of a period of residency at the Höge, in this case between the years 2000 and 2003.
