There are the lines.
Lines which are searching -
in a soft, quick and strong manner, intense like a cut, but as well ephemaral.
Lines which are drawing spaces, figures, relationships.
What treats me, is a kind of energy, the gramble between proximity and distance,
the process to discover the heart of things.
Naturally, colours are essential! Essential for living.
I paint what I see. Not more and not less.

An extended family, what a laboratory. All those relationships,
those attitudes, conflicts, conversations, unspoken things,
all those rules, emotions, those lies and wishes, tragedies of life ...
What a school, what a base for painting.
I was one of the youngest, unperceived I was appreciating.
My childhood, my source ... homeland, aunts, sisters ...
traces within my work.
